ဓါတ္ပံုကို rectangular selection နဲ့ select လုပ္လိုက္ပါ။


ၿပီးရင္ quick mask toggle bottom ကုိ click လုပ္လိုက္ပါ။
ဒါမွမဟုတ္ shift +Q ကို ႏွိပ္မယ္ဆိုရင္လည္း အတူတူပါပဲ။

ေနာက္ selection area ကို ေၿပာင္းၿပန္လုပ္မယ္။... menu\selection\ invert နဲ့လုပ္မယ္။
ctl+ I ဆိုရင္လည္းရပါတယ္။

ဒါၿပီးရင္ selection area ကို blur နဲ့ တၿဖည္းၿဖည္းေလ်ာ့သြားတဲ့ effect ေပးထားလုိက္ပါမယ္။
menu ထဲက Filter\blur\gaussian blur ဆိုၿပီး လုပ္လိုက္ပါ။



ၿပီးသြားရင္ quick mask ကို ၿပန္ၿပီး click ႏွိပ္ပါ။


selection area ကို တခါၿပန္ၿပီး invert လုပ္လိုက္ပါ။

ေနာက္ဆံုးေနနဲ့ ကိုလိုခ်င္တဲ့ အေရာင္ေလးကို fill လုပ္ေပးလိုက္ရံုပါဘဲ။
foreground color ကို ကိုယ္လုိခ်င္တဲ့ အေရာင္ အရင္ေျပာင္းလုိက္ပါ။
ၿ႔ီပီးမွ menu: edil\fill FG color နဲ့ အေရာင္ျဖည့္လို္က္ပါ။

ဒါဆိုရင္ ေဘာင္လွလွေလးတခု တပ္ၿပီးသြားၿပီေပါ့။


တျခား effect ေတြကိုသံုးၿပီးေတာ့လည္း ဓါတ္ပံုေဘာင္ ဆန္းဆန္းေလးေတြကို ဖန္တီးလို့ရပါတယ္။

GIMP

Photoshop ကို၀ယ္ယူဖို ့အတြက္ အေႄကာင္းအမ်ဳိးမ်ဳိးေႄကာင့္ အခက္အခဲရွိေနသူမ်ားအေနနဲ ့ photoshop ကိုအစားထိုးအသံုးျပဳႏိုင္တဲ့ photoediting software တခုကေတာ့
GIMP ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ေတာ္ေတာ္အသံုး၀င္တဲ့ software တခုျဖစ္ပါတယ္။


GIMP ကို စီးပြားေရးလုပ္ငန္းမ်ားမွာေတာင္ အခမဲ့ အသံုးျပဳခြင့္ေပးထားပါတယ္။
GIMP ရဲ့အဓိပၸါယ္ကေတာ့ GNU Image Manipulation Program ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ၁၉၉၅ခုႏွစ္မွာ Spencer Kimball နဲ့ Peter Mattis တို ့ကစတင္တီထြင္ခဲ့ျပီး General image /manipulation Program လို့နံမယ္ေပးခဲ့ပါတယ္။
အဲဒီခ်ိန္တုန္းကေတာ့ Linux အတြက္သာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
ခုခ်ိန္မွာေတာ့ GNOME ရဲ့လုပ္အားေပးအဖြဲ ့ ကေနအဆင့္ျမင့္တင္ ျပဳျပင္ေနျပီး window, mac မ်ားအတြက္ပါရွိေနပါျပီ။

ဒီအေပၚမွာဘဲ main menu bar ရွိပါတယ္။
ႊႊToolbox ထဲမွာေတာ့ editing လုပ္တဲ့အခါမွာ လုိအပ္တဲ့ tool icon ေတြပါပါတယ္။
ီDialogue ေတြကေတာ့ editing လုပ္ေနတဲ့အခါမွာ သီးသန့္ funtction မ်ားအတြက္ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
main menu bar\window\ ကေနလိုအပ္မဲ့ dialoguebox ကို လိုသလိုဖြင့္လို ့ရပါတယ္။
image ေပၚမွာ right click ႏွိပ္ႃပီးေတာ့လည္း main menu ထဲကအတုိင္း function နဲ့ tools မ်ားကို access လုပ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။



Creating a new image and Opening

ႈmain image window menu\file\ new\..
New image dialogue ေပၚလာပါလိမ့္မယ္။ အဲဒိအထဲမွာ image size(640 x 640 default) ၊ color mode (RGB default) ၊ resolution(72defalut) နဲ့ filled color (background color defalut) တို့ကို ျပင္ဆင္လုိ့ရပါတယ္။







Opening

Saving
File\Save
Gimp ရဲ့ native file type ကေတာ့ .xcf ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ layering and transparency တို့ကို support လုပ္ေပးပါတယ္။
တျခား image file types မ်ားကိုေျပာင္း save ခ်င္ရင္ေတာ့
ၤFile\Save as .. file name ရဲ့ေနာက္မွာကိုလိုခ်င္တဲ့ file type extension (e.g image.jpg) ရိုက္ထည့္ေပးရပါတယ္။

Undo ႏွင့္ Redo

undo ကို ctl + z
redo ကို ctl + y shortcut မ်ားနဲ့သံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

ပံုမွန္အားျဖင့္ undo ကို ၅ ခါဘဲလုပ္လို့ရပါတယ္။
ကိုစိတ္ႄကိဳက္ထားျခင္ရင္ေတာ့ edit menu\ preferences ထဲမွာျပင္လိုက္ရံုပါဘဲ။


ႈImage Types

GIMP က image types သံုးခု support လုပ္ပါတယ္။
RGB (full range of colors)
ပံုမွန္အသံုးႃပဳတဲ့ file type ေတြကေတာ့ .png ၊ .jpg ၊ .xcf

Indexed (fixed pallet of colors or gray scale)
ပံုမွန္အသံုးႃပဳတဲ့ file type ေတြကေတာ့ .gif

Grayscale (glack and white)
ပံုမွန္အသံုးႃပဳတဲ့ file type ေတြကေတာ့ .png ၊ .jpg နဲ့ .xcf တုိ့ျဖစ္ၾကပါတယ္။

foreground color ကို click လုပ္ပါ။








pencil and paintbrushes
Tooldbox ထဲမွာဘဲရွိပါတယ္။ pencil ကို shorcut N နဲ့ paintbrushes ကို shortcut P တို့နဲ့လည္း သံုးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

brushes size ၊ opacity ႏွင့္ brush type တို့ကိုလည္း toolbox ရဲ့ေအာက္ပိုင္းမွာ လိုသလို select လုပ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။


Using selection

GIMP မွာ select tools 6 ခုရွိပါတယ္။
Toolbox ထဲကေနသံုးလို့ရပါတယ္။ menu\tool\ selection tool\ ေအာက္ကေန သံုးမယ္ဆိုရင္လည္း သံုးလုိ့ရပါတယ္။ right click ႏွိပ္ၿပီးေတာ့ rightclick menu\select ထဲကေနသြားရင္လည္းရပါတယ္။







ွshift key ႏွိပ္ ၿပီးေတာ့ click လုပ္ၿပီး selection area မ်ားကို ထပ္ေပါင္း(add) လုပ္သြားလို့ရပါတယ္။
ctl key နဲ့ selection area ေတြကို ႏုတ္ (subtract) လို့ရပါတယ္။

shift key ႏွိပ္ၿပီး drag လုပ္မယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ အလ်ား နဲ့ အနံ ညီေနမဲ့ selection area ကို ရပါလိမ့္မယ္။
ctl key ကို ႏွိပ္ၿပိး drag လုပ္မယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ starting poing ကို အလယ္မွာထားတဲ့ selection area ကို ရပါလိမ့္မယ္။


Ctl + A ကေတာ့ ေနရာအားလံုးကို select လုပ္မွာပါ။
Ctl + Shift + A ကေတာ့ selection အားလံုးကို remove လုပ္ေပးမွာပါ။
Ctl + I ကရွိၿပီးသား selection ကို invert လုပ္ေပးပါလိမ့္မယ္။
Ctl + O က pick လုပ္ေပးတဲ့ ေနရာမွာရွိတဲ့ အေရာင္ရွိေနတဲ့ေနရာတုိင္းကို select လုပ္ပါလိမ့္မယ္။



Using Layer

menu \ layer \ new layer
ဆိုၿပီးေတာ့ layer အသစ္ create လုပ္ႏုိင္ပါတယ္။

ွ့Shift + Ctl + N shortcut ကိုသံုးရင္လည္း အတူတူပါဘဲ။

Transforming the image
Rotating
image ေပၚမွာ right click ႏွိပ္ၿပီး menu ထဲက image\transform\rotate command မ်ားျဖင့္ 90 degree စီ rotating လုပ္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

ႊToolbox ထဲက rotate tool နဲ့ ၾကိဳက္တဲ့ degree ကို လွည့္ႏုိင္ပါတယ္။


Cropping and Image size
selection အရင္လုပ္ၿပီးေတာ့ right click menu \ image\ crop to selection ဆိုၿပီးေတာ့ crop လုပ္လိုက္ရံုပါဘဲ။
toolbox ထဲကေန crop image bottom ကိုႏွိပ္ ၿပီးေတာ့လည္း စိတ္ႁကိဳက္ option အတိုင္း crop လုပ္လို့ရပါတယ္။ tool menu ထဲ က ေန transform tool\crop ဆိုၿပီးေတာ့ လည္း crop လုပ္လုိ့ရပါတယ္။
shift + C shortcut ကိုလည္းသံုးရင္လည္းရပါတယ္။

























Align ၊ move ၊ scale ၊ shear ၊ perspective ႏွင့္ flip အစရွိတဲ့ transfrom tools မ်ားလည္းရွိပါတယ္။
ဒီ tool အသီးသီးမွာလည္း သူ ့ option တခု ခ်င္းစီကိုလည္း သံုးလို့ရပါတယ္။





Color Correction

Tool menu\ color ေအာက္ထဲမွာ အေရာင္နဲ့ အလင္းအေမွာင္ adjust လုပ္တဲ့ toold မ်ားရွိပါတယ္။
ွAuto ေအာက္ မွာ auto white balance ၊ color enhance တုိ့ကိုသံုး ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။












Color balance ၊ Hue saturation ၊ level ႏွင့္ curves မ်ားကိုလည္း အသံုးျပဳႏိုင္ပါတယ္။
